- Appearance- Is it formatted correctly? Is Everything uniform looking: colons, bullet points, fonts, bold, italics, etc. Is this a resume, without even reading it, that looks good to you? Can you pick out the important information very quickly: References, Contacts, Awards, Activities, Interests, skills.
- Spelling and Grammar- Carefully read through the resume. Are there any misspelled words? Does the Objective make sense? Does it come off as conceited or too passive?
- Please write, in detail, three pieces of advice for the persons resume to make it look perfect. Remember you are helping him or her with getting a job.

- Visit http://www.bls.gov/oco/oco20043.htm scroll to the bottom to Cover letter and describe what is needed to be included in a Coverletter.
- Visit http://www.bls.gov/oco/oco20041.htm and list five places to learn about job opportunities.
